We have wonderful access to produce, some of which we grow, and I love to cook, so there’s always a new recipe to try. Pear jam is on the horizon this weekend, but what I love the most is the art of conversation, which is forever flowing. We bring together our views, experiences, joys and laughter. But, there’s more music of the classical sort on offer through the PEC Chamber Music Festival as well as the annual Studio tour featuring many artists from across the county. And because it’s September, it’s the beginning of the theatrical season, and we are so looking forward to seeing the one-woman show of the Year of Magical Thinking based on the Joan Didion book, and then there’s CAFF – the County Adaptation Film Festival. In those days, I didn’t know how to drive, and I welcomed the opportunity to buy my Merlot electric bike which I loved to ride. The business has expanded, and they now have a shop located in Bloomfield. Not only do they have a great selection of bikes to purchase, but they also have a selection of rental bikes available to book for ½ day, or a full day, Tuesdays to Saturdays until late October. They have a brand new fleet of super high-quality bikes available for rental.
